This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated Assistant Project Manager to join a full-service general contractor specializing in commercial interiors and base-building projects. You'll support the VP and project managers on upcoming hospitality, medical, and office projects, with the potential to grow into a Project Manager role.

Our client, established in 1993, is a trusted general contractor known for design-build services, interior build-outs, new construction, and building maintenance. With over 30 years of success and a small team of 15, they pride themselves on fostering strong client relationships, completing 80% of projects with repeat clients, and cultivating a values-driven, rewarding workplace culture.

Description

  • Collaborate with the VP and project managers to deliver high-quality commercial interiors and base-building projects.
  • Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination.
  • Ensure projects meet client expectations and adhere to quality standards.
  • Work on Procore and Timberline to manage documentation and workflow.
  • Occasionally visit project sites as needed.

Profile

  • 3-5 years of experience in commercial construction, ideally in interiors or base-building projects.
  • Open to Project Engineers ready to step into an APM role or candidates with less experience but strong potential.
  • Proficiency in Procore is required; familiarity with Timberline is a plus.
  • College degree preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills, a proactive attitude, and a commitment to professional growth.
