About the Role
As a Personal Lines Private Client Producer, you will develop new business and maintain existing accounts within a renewal book of business, while seeking opportunities to account round. This book of business will include accounts for high-net-worth clients with large personal lines premium. A high degree of insurance expertise, relationship building, and sound decision making will be the key to success in this role.
While this is a remote role, the ideal candidate will reside in the greater Seattle area.

Responsibilities
- Generates and pursues new client opportunities, closes new business.
- Develops new business from existing accounts and assigned leads and contributes to meeting departmental production goals.
- Provides professional, courteous service to our clients, carriers, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues, resulting in a rate of account retention that meets or exceeds expectations.
- Gain an understanding of clients’ insurance needs; critically analyze and compare insurance plans to make appropriate recommendations.
- Develops strong client relationships, becoming their trusted insurance advisor.
- Prepares annual review reports for clients.
- Presents a thorough review of the expiring insurance program, makes appropriate recommendations for changes and/or policy additions to ensure client retention.
- Acts as liaison between clients and insurance carriers to resolve escalated complex service issues that require policy interpretation and experience-based judgement to resolve.
- Oversees the preparation and implementation of all transactions, paperwork, and internal processing for assigned accounts.
- Follows workflows, compliance procedures, and insurance company regulations.
- Travels occasionally to host or participate in meetings and events.
Qualifications
- Experience working with high net-worth insurance carriers, large Personal Lines accounts, and insurance savvy clients.
- Extensive knowledge of Personal Lines insurance products and services with the willingness to continuously learn and stay current with changes in the market.
- At least 2 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in an insurance Account Management role.
- Superior customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems, including but not limited to Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems such as Hawksoft.
Education, Licenses and Certifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Marketing or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer license.
