1 year contract position in Los Angeles
Must have ability to get get Clearance in the future
Performs depot level inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair in support of the Javelin missile Command Launch Unit (CLU) and training devices (TD) at the Javelin Joint Venture (JJV) Javelin Maintenance Support Center (JMSC) located in Los Angeles, CA.
Performs all aspects of troubleshooting and repair to various types of circuit cards, cable harnesses, electronic, and electro-optical assemblies.
Candidate will analyze equipment failures to determine root cause and recommend corrective action.
Must be able to read and work with schematics, engineering drawings, written and oral work instructions.
Position requires candidate to be proficient with the use of standard electronic assembly and test tools.
Must be able to incorporate hardware and software modifications on tactical, training and test and support equipment resulting from changes in engineering, design and obsolescence.
Assist in the development of new test procedures and test equipment and provide input effecting design changes to improve process efficiency or reduce cost.
Work in a positive team environment with JMSC Technical and Engineering personnel, must have the ability to perform effectively in a team environment and as an individual contributor.
The candidate may be required to participate in sporadic travel requirements in support of program commitments such as providing CLU maintenance training to customer personnel and providing assistance with gunner live fire training.

•Must be able to read and work schematics, blueprints, written and oral rework instructions •Proficient with the use of standard electronic assembly and test tools and materials
•Proficient in the use of standard electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes and DVM
•Ability to perform effectively in a team environment
•Candidate must be available to support some travel Desired Skills:

•Solder certified •Cable / Harness Certified
•Good communication skills
