Position Summary:
The ideal candidate is both a “doer” and a leader and likes to make things happen. They are very collaborative & affable. They can develop clear strategies, plans, and can execute against them. The selected candidate would need to be culturally sensitive and possess elevated levels of emotional intelligence. They know we are agile and change rapidly. You can lead with minimal direction.
This position will report to our Editor in Chief.
Position Responsibilities:

Write creative marketing copy for blog posts, pillar pages, social ads, white papers, video scripts, emails, among other formats

Provide copy editing and proofreading support as needed

Understand our messaging, voice, and audience, and write copy that aligns with the brand’s goals

Work autonomously in role and on project responsibilities

Be point of contact for copy deliverables

Assist Demand Gen team with developing content strategy, messaging, and themes; ensure they align with the company’s B2B goals for growth and meet the needs of the customer.

Collaborate on A/B testing and messaging testing

Ensure content requests are prioritized appropriately according to strategic goals.

Research latest developments and trends to keep our content relevant to customers.

Monitor content performance, make adjustments as needed.

Regularly analyze competitor content to inform strategy decisions

Ensure content meets business goals

Audit existing content for improvement opportunities/for reuse with current campaigns and priorities

Make connections between upcoming projects and content opportunities
-
Assist with market research on the trends,best practices, and competitive insights to inform how and where we target our copy
-
Assist in developing and maintaining content briefs and editorial playbooks that inform other marketing teams and our business, on standard best practices for copywriting, and our preferred style for messaging.

Assist with monitoring content performance
Position Requirements:
-
3-5+ years of experience in copywriting
-
You have already worked with organizations in cyber security and/or B2B technology and/or SaaS and/or cloud Content marketing experience preferred

Excellent communicator, you are clear, concise, and affable.

You are naturally an organized person
-
You have demonstrated success in managing contractors/agencies when and where needed.

Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment where agility and pivoting are a part of the journey.

Self-driven, positive, and collaborative individual. You enjoy collaborating and going it alone when needed.

Willingness to support global activities

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
