The Cath-Angio Nurse Educator works as part of the Interventional Platform education team delivering orientation and ongoing education programs that increase and maintain staff competence leading to safe patient care. Responsibilities include developing and teaching initial and on-going education programs focusing on the knowledge and skills required to care for patients in the assigned area, identifying and participating in quality improvement initiatives, and creating/supporting a culture of continuous learning within the platform. This position will support the Cath-Angio suites at the main hospital campus and may be required to travel to Ambulatory Sites to provide education as required by departmental needs. This position requires the ability to work in an interprofessional team delivering services to a diverse group of stakeholders. Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university
Experience: Five (5) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. Cath-Angio nursing experience required. Previous education experience preferred.
License/Certification: CA Registered Nurse (RN), American Heart Association BLS
