HR Administrator
The HR Administrator will support the HR department by focusing on the day-to-day transactional and administrative responsibilities and related functions, including assisting with payroll and other programs within the HR department. The HR Administrator must be proactive and anticipate the department’s needs. The HR Generalist fulfills the responsibilities of this role when vacant.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Successfully “on-board” all new hires by ensuring that all employees complete and understand new hire paperwork, practices, and policies before they begin initial training.
- Leads and assists HR Generalist with the hiring process for hourly employees, including interviewing and selection.
- Coordinate the use of temporary employees with vendors and act as liaison to leadership by assigning temporary staff, canceling temporary assignments, and coordinating the process of invoices and monthly reports.
- Ensure employees remain informed of benefits-related activities, meetings and offerings and various human resources programs, procedures, and policies.
- Consults with HR on employee issues and provides various human resources solutions to meet business initiatives.
- Ensure the proper paperwork is processed for payroll changes, including but not limited to employee new hires, transfers/terminations, promotions, etc.
- Assist in maintaining interactive employee processes related to leave of absence.
- Maintains a positive employee relations environment that resolves employee issues and is consistent with implementing progressive management practices.
- Provides counsel to managers and employees regarding company policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
- Updates and maintains employee files to document personnel actions and to provide information for payroll and other uses.
- Responsible for administrative duties for employee benefits and payroll changes and adjustments.
- Ensure timesheets are completed successfully and accurately and assist with submitting payroll within specified deadlines.
- Maintain weekly HR Reports (i.e., headcounts, attendance, etc.)
- Maintain regulatory postings, communal bulletin boards, and/or other resources for employee information and culture.
- Coordinates and assists the HR Team and Office Staff with employee activities.
- This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
- Other Duties as assigned.

- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Intermediate or Advanced computer skills required. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
