Front-End Developer/E2E Tester Job Description:

SAIC is looking for a front-end developer and end- to-end tester with at least two years' experience to work with our customer’s team of Knowledge Systems architects. The team implements innovative, high-impact solutions in the field of informatics to transform the ability of the workforce to find and use a vast amount of unstructured information. The right candidate has experience both as a front-end UI developer and an end-to-end (integration) tester.

Primary duties:

- Create wireframes, rapid prototypes, user interfaces, and comp designs
- Design layout and templates for maximum usability and focus on user experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Create user interfaces, using front-end code in HTML, CSS, JQuery, and JavaScript to interface with backend code
- Conduct end-to- end (E2E) testing to:

- Ensure that the user interface renders appropriately
- Ensure that all expected user interactions work
- Ensure that all template logic executes properly
- Check communication with external systems



- Requires Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or relevant discipline, or 4 years additional experience in lieu of degree
- At least 2 years experience
- Experience with JavaScript and multiple frameworks, including Angular
- Experience with JSON web tokens for authentication and storage of JWT
- Experience with build tools
- Experience with data visualization tools
- Experience with Bootstrap, both out of the box and customization
- Experience executing E2E tests
- Knowledge of browser compatibility with Selenium
- Knowledge of Protractor
- Possession of (or have the ability to obtain) a DOE L clearance.
- Can start uncleared but must be able to start clearance process upon acceptance.


- Experience developing in AngularJS, particularly with UI router, directives, and Angular two-way data binding
- Experience with Angular UI Bootstrap
- Experience with Grunt, Bower and NPM
- Experience with Cytoscape JS, NVD3 and NVD3-Angular
- Experience using Agile development methodologies
