Systems Software Engineer II will perform software coding and writing of
software documentation to design specifications while implementing data
conversion procedures and performing software and database quality control.

- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Geographic
Information Science, Computer Science, Cartographic Science, Geology, Social
Science, Environmental Science or Related Technical Discipline and 5 years of
general related experience.
experience using COTS image software in both Windows/Linux operating environment.
in requirements analysis, design, and coding methodologies; documentation
standards; configuration management; DoD software policies; and DoD test and
evaluation requirements; distributed systems, modeling and simulation, and
resource utilization assessment.
Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
in ESRI product languages, programming languages, Internet markup languages,
and other technologies.
understanding of Geospatial Information Systems (GIS) software as well as
software engineering and programming for GIS systems in large computer and
minicomputer and microprocessor systems supporting broad base of applications.
to work holidays, nights, and weekends as required.
to travel to other government facilities, up to 25%, as required.
