Texoma Medical Center, a 378-bed acute care facility has been providing quality health care to the residents of North Texas and Southern Oklahoma since 1965. Under the direct supervision of the Director of Cardiovascular Services/Neurophysiology, this position is responsible to perform comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis. Demonstrate core knowledge to interact with patients and obtain a quality, interpretable EEG recording that will yield accurate information regarding patients' brain neuronal activity. This position will demonstrate the appropriate knowledge level of diseases to correlate patient history and clinical symptoms to determine appropriate maneuvers to be performed during the EEG with instrumentation, Recording Principles, and Knowledge Base Statements.
- Per ABRET Board Registry requirements
- Minimum of six (6) months experience in neuordiagnostic services.
- Current healthcare provider CPR. Currently registered with ABRET (American Board of Registered Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists)
- Must demonstrate excellent communication skills, verbally and in written, especially with patients, patients' family members and providers. Must be organized and able to effectively prioritize tasks. Must be adept at following established protocols. Must be able to identify and competently address needs of populations served. Consistently demonstrate service excellence skills. Must consistently demonstrate effective critical thinking skills.
