Job Duties Include:
  • Prepares monthly reporting including the agency's cash flow statement, unearned revenue analysis, and operating statement variance analysis;
  • Represents agency on fiscal and accounting matters with outside parties such as auditors and vendors;
  • Works closely with private and governmental auditors throughout the year to verify and justify reported income and expenses;
  • Works with the Offshore GL/AP/AR teams to ensure accuracy of transactions recorded in the ERP system;
  • Creates management reports for analysis within the Finance team
  • Creates and maintains training material for operations staff to report financial transactions to Finance;
  • Updates the Shared Service, Line of Service and Site allocations on a quarterly basis;
  • Responsible for unclaimed property responsible annual reporting;
  • Responsible for review of vendors for 1099 reporting and final 1099 reports;
  • Monitors and works to improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and database management;
  • Performs reconciliations and analysis;
  • Research and resolve inquiries from both internal and external staff
Qualifications
  • BA degree in Accounting or equivalent training/experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting or related areas preferred
  • Nonprofit industry experience
