Fidelity TalentSource is your destination for discovering your next temporary role at Fidelity Investments. We are currently sourcing for a UX Writer to work at Fidelity in Boston, MA!

We are looking for a UX Writer to create the UX content, instructional copy, and all written aspects of the user experience of our new trading application. If you have experience creating product and web content, particularly financial services and trading applications, we’d like to meet you. Along with your application, please submit a portfolio or links to your published work.

The UX writer will join a fast-moving and small UX and development team creating an advanced trading app for a new platform. They will work in a highly collaborative atmosphere with a start-up-like part of the organization, and will therefore be able to have high accountability for and control of their work.



Job brief

Responsibilities include writing original copy for the trading app and all related aspects, which may include marketing and communications support.



Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the designers, researchers and developers to understand the goal and direction of the product
  • Establish the voice of the product
  • Create a content strategy tailored for our users
  • Be responsible for a content structure and a content management solution for the product, including taxonomy and labelling.
  • Creating an educational library to support the product


Requirements

  • Experience writing for the financial industry (preferably fintechs)
  • Trading knowledge is a must
  • Shape language and tone
  • On occasion, Interview clients, industry experts and internal teams
  • Proven work experience as a UX Writer
  • Portfolio of published sites or applications, or other online content
  • Previous experience with financial services and technology with a particular emphasis on FinTechs
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Solid time-management skills
  • BSc in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field
