NurseCore is a leader in supplemental staffing and home healthcare. We are currently seeking experienced companions / sitters to provide non-personal, non-nursing care for clients in the Monroe County area. Consistent schedules available with a variety of shifts including days, nights and weekend visits.

As a Home Companion / Sitter each day will vary as you work to meet the non-healthcare needs of each client. You will provide generalized attention to the needs of the ill, injured, impaired, disabled or aged, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable living environment. You will be responsible for providing quality care to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations and policies.

  • 18 years of age or older

  • High school diploma

  • 1 year of related care experience within the last 3 years

  • Ability to follow written instructions and care documents

  • Ability to lift unspecified weights

  • Empathy for the needs of the ill, injured, frail or impaired
