We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Service Representative in our Salem, NH office. This position will report to the Customer Service Supervisor.

The Customer Service Representative sells and services travel insurance products that ensure the consumer will have access to 24/7 medical and travel assistance while on a trip and that the customer's vacation investment is protected. The position also provides administrative support to Assistance Coordinators who are working around the clock to deliver life-determining aid during medical emergencies from any point on the globe as well as coordination of transportation home after accidents or illnesses and other travel assistance services.

Performance Objectives:

1). Gain understanding of the Customer Service Representative process: During the first 30 days learn how to provide assistance to clients and customers over the phone by establishing knowledge on company systems, protocols and processes. Begin to complete data entry of emails into company case management system in a timely manner.

2). Input Data and communicate with Global Response Center: During the first 90 days be able to enter case notes and data entry for travel and medical cases with minimal supervision. Learn to provide guidance on travel insurance, benefit or sales inquiries. Communicate with Operations staff to ensure proper customer service is delivered efficiently.

3). Work on cases independently: During the first 6 months be able to independently complete data entry for travel and medical cases. Provide guidance on travel insurance, benefit, sale inquiries or claim status in a timely manner while accurately documenting each call.
Position Knowledge, Skills, and Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience in travel and hospitality industry, insurance claims processing, and foreign language skills are encouraged to apply
