As SunPower continues to expand, the Senior Director, Technical Talent Acquisition will report to SunPower's Chief People Officer, Doug Richards. You will be responsible for the implementation and evolution of processes to hire the best talent in the solar industry, drive the company's future growth and lead the core TA operations required to accomplish your goals. The successful candidate will embody the SunPower culture, lead and inspire change and weave the company's values into day-to-day operations. Position Location: Strong preference for position to be near one of our main offices in Bellevue, WA or Richmond, CA. Key Accountabilities + Leverage deep talent acquisition knowledge to create and execute innovative technical recruiting strategies focused on hiring top diverse talent. + Provide leadership and guidance on recruiting best practices, with an understanding of the efficiencies needed to keep the constant demand for new hires. + Develop advanced technical recruiting processes to sources and attract the best Software, Firmware and Digital talent. + Develop and foster deep partnerships with the business leaders and hiring managers to develop a workforce plan in support of SunPower's organizational strategy. + Coach, mentor, and develop individuals on the Talent Acquisition team to provide a high level of support in company growth. + Be a trusted advisor and influencer on hiring best practices to the leadership teams as well as to departmental and operational leaders at all levels in the US. + Work closely with senior executives on strategic planning and drive implementation of plans throughout the year. + Create effective TA strategies to identify and hire top talent in each function, ensuring the team of TA professionals is fully aligned and executing. + Drive university relations strategies including strategic partnerships with the universities and professors. + Amplify SunPower's core values and build employee connections; keeping SunPower's people informed, engaged, and inspired. + Drive a seamless and highly positive candidate experience by developing and implementing new TA processes that exceed candidate expectations. + Collaborate with the global DEI lead in the deployment of DEI initiatives throughout the function. Foster an equal, diverse, inclusive, and fun work environment. + Create, drive, track and analyze recruiting metrics that drive strategy and measure performance. + Ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and legal requirements. + Serve as an active member of the HR leadership team helping to scale and drive global practices over time. Knowledge Base and Experience + A proven track record of hiring, developing, motivating and inspiring a Technical Talent Acquisition team. + Demonstrated success in leading and executing Talent Acquisition efforts spanning across geographic locations. + Developed recruiting strategies for a range of employee types, including tech, call center and corporate. + Experience developing a talent acquisition strategy for a company undergoing high-volume recruiting. Operated within a high growth, publicly-traded company. + Proficiency in using technology to leverage Talent Programs and experience using data and analytics to measure outcomes, gain insights, make decisions and influence others. + Demonstrated experience in building trust and credibility with the executive team and employees at large. Professional and Cultural Characteristics + Ability to work collaboratively and cultivate and sustain strong partnerships with internal and external clients and colleagues. + A self-starter with a bias for action and accomplishment; attention to detail and accuracy is a must; strong analytical capabilities; positive communicator and trusted team player. + Adept at creating reports, interpreting metrics and driving overall insights/analysis. + Strong presentation and project management skills as well as excellent verbal, written and analytical skills. + A "roll-up-the-sleeves" type who can deliver excellence with a lean staff, high sense of urgency. Qualifications/Requirements + 12+ years of Talent Acquisition-related experience, including 5+ years of in-house recruiting leadership experience. + Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
