Provider Enrollment Specialist 2

Positions in this function is responsible for processing high volume enrollments of health care providers with third party payers. Contacts medical office staff, licensing agencies, and insurance carriers as necessary to bring the enrollment process to completion. Responsible for maintaining accurate and up to date records on provider enrollment activities. Act as a liaison with insurance companies on behalf of the client for provider enrollment issues. Complete and submit applications

Primary Responsibilities:
- Enroll/revalidate all eligible provider types (MD, DO, CRNAs, etc.) with government and commercial payers
- Follow up on open enrollment applications until approvals and effective dates are obtained
- Work to resolve enrollment related issues impacting revenue
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Must be able to communicate with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and concise manner
- Meet productivity standards as outlined in client metrics
- Identify any issues or trends and bring them to the attention of management team
- Work on special projects & train other team members as assigned
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of hands-on work within provider enrollment process
- Excellent understanding of the entire provider enrollment process
