Position Description:
 
The Field Support Manger oversees and maintains operational compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, company policies and procedures, and accrediting organization standards.
The Field Support Manager maintains day-to-day supervision and provides development to the Field Support personnel. The Field Support Manager serves as the primary point of contact for field escalated issues involving team members, caregivers, field staff, independent contractors and other customers.
The Field Support Manager manages ongoing quality, operational excellence and customer service.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
 
1. Consistently models company’s philosophy of customer service and compliance
2. Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication within the office as well as with
clients, caregivers, field staff, and team members
3. Collaborates with the Business Development, Recruitment, and other team membersto ensure
appropriate and effective operational methods and best practices are used to support the office
4. Implements, develops, and oversees best practices, tools, and processes in accordance with
company, federal, state, local and accreditation standards
5. Demonstrates knowledge of company and office policies and procedures
6. Oversees caregiver, field staff, and independent contractors onboarding experiences including
orientation, payroll, credentialing, etc.
7. Ensures caregivers, field staff, and independent contractors meet all requirements prior to
working in the field
8. Implements ongoing activities related to key performance indicator’s related to the provision of
quality services.
9. Participates in the Compliance Plan Of Correction (CPOC) process
10. Interviews and selects new team members
11. Manages team member development, including coaching, training and continuing education
12. Effectively oversees office payroll and billing processes with accuracy
13. Performs payroll and billing quality assurance to ensure that all issues are resolved promptly
14. Oversees office spending/delivery cost
15. Coordinates responses and processing of unemployment and workers’ compensation claims
16. Monitors office equipment, supplies and usage, and manages the facility in collaboration with
the corporate Real Estate team to ensure the office space is in alignment with building policies
17. Participates in office Red Zone meetings
18. Responsible for working with the Revenue Cycle team at headquarters on the collection process
and managing accounts receivable
19. Displays effective relationship building skills
20. Works with the Contracts and Licensing departments to coordinate and maintain proper
certifications and licenses
21. Manages the grievance process
22. Meets and maintains HIPAA regulations in regards to Protected Health Information
23. Generates and utilizes reports; payroll, billing, financial, HR, etc.
24. Performs other duties as assigned
 
Minimum Requirements:
 
1. Undergraduate degree preferred in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications, Public
Relations, Human Resources, Healthcare Administration or licensed RN
2. Minimum one year operations or administrative experience in healthcare preferred
3. Must possess and retain knowledge of federal, state, local and accreditation standards
4. Supervisory experience preferred
5. Ability to effectively elicit from and provide information to all team members, caregivers, field
staff, independent contractors and clients using strong communication skills
6. Strong understanding of organizational and financial structure
7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment
8. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
9. Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office
10. Must meet federal, state, and local requirements
 
Compliance & Ethics Expectations:
 
• Participates and successfully completes the company’s compliance program requirements and
adheres to the Code of Conduct, Company policies, and applicable federal and state
requirements
• Sets an example for other employees regarding how the Company’s Code of Conduct and
Compliance Program is applied and observed every day when dealing with customers, business
operations, or other team members
• Reports potential violations of company policy, Code of Conduct, and/or applicable laws and
regulations to the company hotline, through the chain of command, to the Compliance and Ethics
Department, or through other channels made available by the company for reporting potential
violations
• Promotes an environment in which other employees are encouraged to report potential
violations.
