Outpatient Mental Health Provider:  Psychologist

 

My client is seeking a  Licensed Behavioral Health Psychologist. You will be joining a well-established private practice team of psychiatrists, psychologists, counselors, and social workers.

They are looking for candidates with a wide range of experience to work with patients ages 8 and older. The position provides a competitive wage and allows you to set your own schedule.     Outpatient Psychologist Responsibilities

  • Provide behavioral health services to individuals and/or families using multiple forms of therapeutic approaches, including psycho-educational models, evidence-based practices and medical/illness models of assessment and diagnosis.
  • Work with individuals and/or families to address issues such as divorce, co-parenting, depression, addiction/substance abuse, stress, trauma, and problems with self-esteem.
  • Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation using an EHR system.
  • Participate in treatment planning with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ensure adherence to accreditation standards and ethics of confidentiality.

    Outpatient Psychologist Requirements

  • Master's Degree or higher required
  • Fully or Limited Licensed in Michigan as a Psychologist
  • Must have passed Michigan Licensing Exam
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented
  • Ability to maintain composure and exercise sound judgment and discretion.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
