Drive new accounts for the Kroger REWARDS World MasterCard credit card by explaining the credit card's benefits and assisting customers through the application process. Meet defined sales goals through participation in selling events in the store, fuel centers or other external sites. Travel within the division to complete selling events. Essential Job Functions
Travel frequently to multiple store locations within the division to engage customers on the Kroger REWARDS World MasterCard product features and benefits, and sign them up for the credit card by processing their application in store or on location at other selling eventsUnderstand and follow all legal and regulatory compliance regulations regarding credit card acquisitionGain and maintain knowledge of the Kroger REWARDS World MasterCard credit card and respond to questions about the productAchieve sales goals by submitting customer applications the same day through the appropriate channelParticipate in special in-store or external sales events to market the credit cardPrepare for and present at meetings and training events as neededConduct training and coach new selling champions as neededMaintain awareness of competitors' credit card offerings and provide feedback to the division Customer Experience and Financial Products ManagerArrange and display merchandise effectivelyTake stock of inventory; requisition new stockEstablish and maintain effective professional relationships with store and division leadership teamsCreate a Customer 1st environment that enables customers to feel welcome, important and appreciated by answering questions regarding products and services sold throughout the storeMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation
Minimum Position Qualifications
1 year sales and/or retail customer service experienceProficient computer/iPad skillsExcellent presentation skillsWillingness to accept new business challenges and embrace new ideasAbility to balance persistence within the parameters of the Customer 1st strategyProfessional demeanorReliable transportation to different store locations dailyAbility to prepare for and present at meetings and training events
