Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description:
Manufacturing Engineering is responsible for the support of operations throughout the entire span of the value stream, from customer order to product delivery and warranty. We support all business functions including but not limited to sales, sourcing, product design, material delivery, production, safety, quality, and warranty. Our day-to-day focus is on production support through process evaluation, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We are productions point of contact for work content evaluation, root cause analysis, as well as process and engineering improvements.
Expectations and Responsibilities:
•Analyze processes and procedures to improve repeatability, safety, and efficiency
•Perform root cause analysis to eliminate issues from reoccurring
•Apply lean principles when managing a project or task
•Drive continuous improvement throughout the business
•Manage projects that drive innovation and technology
•Execute capital projects that improve efficiency, quality, and safety
•Direct and support design for manufacturability
•Drive 5S through standardization and best practices
•Maintain cell layouts by applying PFEP and understanding process flow
•Balance work content through cycle time analysis and assembly sequences
•Reduction of variation by cost analysis and value stream impact analysis
•Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology or similar field
•Microsoft Office
•SolidWorks and AutoCAD
•Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma
•Continuous Improvement
•Project Management
•Strong Problem Solving Ability
•Root Cause Analysis
•Programming is a plus
•Cross Functional Teamwork
•3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing within an Assembly environment
