The Project Manager (PM) will be responsible for the management, supervision and overall site security services provided to Federal Government Intelligence facilities in Landover, Maryland and Bethesda, Maryland. The PM is accountable for ensuring compliance with technical requirements, maintaining adequate staffing, timely submittal of deliverables, and maintaining exceptional levels of quality and customer satisfaction. The PM has full authority and responsibility for assuring performance objectives and standards identified in the contract are met for all sites included in the contract.

•         Serves as the company focal point for interaction with the Federal Government client. 

•         Responsible for the overall quality and standards conformance of all services delivered within the scope of this effort.

•         Prepares various reports, plans, and documentation as requested by Security Officials at client facility.

•         Conducts high level management, leadership, and coordination of all contract requirements including client interaction, contract staffing levels, budget requirements, equipment management which includes life cycle replacement, and all contract performance milestones.

•         Oversees the management of enterprise-wide post orders, instructions, and standard operating procedures to ensure all are current, property distributed, adhered to, and enforced.

•         Maintains liaison with customer stakeholders to ensure the terms of the contract are being met to the client's satisfaction and expectation.

•         Verifies that all officers receive and understand new, changed, or special instructions.

•         Follows all company personnel and safety policies and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

•         May be required to work other than normal duty hours.

•   Oversees and manages all security officer personnel.

•         Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications: (To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.)

•         Minimum of a Bachelor’s of Arts or Science degree and one year of demonstrated experience managing large, multi-task contract(s) of this type and complexity.

•         Ten (10) years of directly related program management experience; five (5) years must be in the direction and management of government funded security programs within the industry.

•         Must possess and maintain National Security Clearance at the Top-Secret level with SCI eligibility. 

•         Must be willing to complete and be able to successfully pass a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

•         Capability and demonstrated experience in successfully planning, directing and coordinating the activities of security administration and program control.

•         Must perform duties in accordance with Post Operating Procedures and under the direction of the Federal Government’s Police and Security Services Division’s chain of command.

•         Must possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.

•         Must satisfactorily pass initial and random drug testing.

•         Must satisfactorily pass initial psychological testing.

•         In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire, including a background check to determine if applicant has been convicted of “Crimes Against Household Member” or any “Domestic Violence Act,” and who would be in violation of Federal Law, State Law or the Lautenberg Amendment, and therefore shall not be eligible for employment.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

•         Knowledge of Department of Defense (DoD) directives pertaining to security operations.

•         Professional Program/Project Management Certification (PMP) or advanced business degree is desired.

•         Problem resolution including organizing and structuring solutions to complex problems.

•         Experience planning projects, meeting objectives, developing contingencies and managing resources within a budget.

•         Knowledge and/or experience in project management and business rules.

•         Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products (i.e., Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, Microsoft Project)

•         Knowledgeable in the application of intrusion detection devices and electronic security systems.

•         Strong personnel management skills; excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.

•         Superior knowledge, analytical, persuasion, and problem-solving skills relative to health, safety, environmental, and business matters.

•         Ability to manage multiple, high priority tasks simultaneously.

•         Capable of assimilating and critically evaluating information.

•         The employee will normally work in a temperature-controlled office environment, with frequent exposure to electronic office equipment.

•         During visits to areas of operations, may be exposed to extreme cold or hot weather conditions.  Is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and loud noise.
