Compensation: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT! Our client is a well known and respected non-profit organization in the Akron area. They are searching for a Senior Accountant to support their accounting and finance department in several key functional areas. The position is integral to the general ledger, monthly close, consolidation, and reporting process. Other responsibilities will include assisting with the internal audit, the ERP implementation, training and mentoring of less senior staff, and other projects as assigned. The successful candidate will be a motivated self-starter, possess critical thinking skills, and have the education and experience necessary to meet deadlines and complete projects on a timely basis. There is significant opportunity for growth with this organization. The client requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, at least 5 years experience in a large, high volume environment, preferably in health care, proficiency with accounting software, and advanced Excel skills.
