Our client is an award winning general contracting firm that provides mission critical infrastructure and facilities construction and renovations in support of our civilian and military personnel in the US government.

Description

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting Project Managers (PM) and/or Superintendents and other Field Staff in coordinating the activities of a project to ensure cost, schedule, document control, and quality standards are met, as well as other duties as assigned. Under the direction of the PM, the Assistant Project Manager is expected to take on any/all tasks in the quest to learn all he/she can about construction. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of construction experience. A degree in construction management is a plus.

Other requirements:

Technology savvy with a working knowledge of Procore and essential MS Office Suite.
A minimum of 3 years as a Project Engineer or Assistant Project Manager in commercial construction. Work history in the federal and/or municipal sectors is advantageous. Experience with diverse federal projects a plus.
