ou will design climate control systems for school, commercial, and transit buses including: AC coil design, blower/fan specification, capacity calculations, performance testing and troubleshooting (components and systems)
You will create cooling/heating and ventilation systems and their controls
You will read and interpret electrical plans, schematics associated with refrigeration, air conditioning and heating
You will draft new plans to design HVAC units, piping systems, BOMs, and installations of metal fabrication
You will revise/improve current HVAC products via ECR/ECN process.
You will develop manufacturing procedures based on design.
You will perform audits and sample inspections of production-level products
You will examine, troubleshoot, and perform failure analysis to the root-cause level on RMA products
Let's talk about you...
You have an associate degree or college diploma in design or related technology field
Automotive HVAC design preferred
You have a minimum 4 years design experience
Work experience with air conditioning and heat transfers is preferred
You have strong knowledge of 3-D modeling (CATIA & SolidWorks)
You have strong working knowledge of manufacturing processes for engineering materials and electric control systems
Customer/Supplier interaction and communication skills to present
Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc) / Google office preferred
