The Role

Bring your passion for data to Porter Novelli's Data and Insights team. We are hiring an analyst (Account Executive) to work across multiple accounts supporting Purpose-driven marketing, corporate communications and other PR programs. This position's scope includes working with multiple reporting platforms across paid, owned and earned channels to develop audience insights and measure campaign impact. The core deliverables include social media monitoring and landscape analysis, traditional media coverage reporting, consumer trends analysis, end of campaign reporting and ad-hoc projects as appropriate. The ideal candidate has strong analytical experience using Excel or similar tools, is comfortable working with data from different sources and has strong communication skills. This is an opportunity to contribute to the development of award-winning, impactful marketing and communications efforts across a range of topics, including consumer, technology, healthcare, education and food and nutrition.

What You Will Be Doing

* In time, you will be "the expert" using a suite of tools to pull data, develop insights and report findings to various stakeholders.
* With oversight from a manager, you will own projects from start to finish, and ensure deliverables meet timelines and quality standards. This also includes keeping key stakeholders up to date on progress and building archives of your work.
* You will use data visualization and a succinct narrative to convey complex ideas to a variety of stakeholders.
* As project owner, you will also handle the administrative aspects of the work including: coordinating meetings, updating status reports, supporting other office administration and providing additional account- and research-related support, as necessary.

The Experience That Will Contribute To Your Success

* 2-5?years of analytics, data, research experience
* BA/BS in business, communications, marketing or social sciences
* Understanding of social and digital media
* Familiarity with market research methodologies
* Experience using third-party reporting and analytics platforms (e.g., Cision, Talkwalker, GWI)
* Skilled in using MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
* Prior experience with social media monitoring
* Prior experience with Influencer program measurement
* Prior experience with web analytics (e.g., Adobe cloud, Google Analytics)
* Prior experience with SEO
* Prior experience with dashboard building (e.g., power BI, Google Data Studio)
* Sense of curiosity and desire to "get to the bottom" of things
* Ability to deconstruct complex problems into manageable workstreams
* Analytics experience in a PR or Marketing agency. Academic background in social sciences or other applicable experience considered.
* First-rate written and verbal communications skills
* Talent for navigating fast-paced environments, strong organizational skills and attention to detail
