The position of Sales Support Specialist is a key position that impacts the store operations support team and success of our stores. This individual must work closely with Field Operations as well as Customer Support Team Members to drive the success of New Store Openings, Relocations, POS Conversions and other specialty projects. Due to its impact on the company, it is essential that the person holding this position must be effective in the areas of planning, multi-tasking, building collaborative relationships, performing complex financial analysis and working across departmental and functional boundaries. In addition this individual must have a solid understanding of store operations and the unique nature of the various markets in which Advance Auto Parts operates. This person will be responsible for guiding the field team through successful execution of their project while helping remove roadblocks and serve as a bridge to the Customer Support Center.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Instrumental in critical project communications, overall coordination, playbook calls and field facing meetings.
Identify areas or processes in need of improvement based on feedback from store operations team (General Managers, District Managers, Vice Presidents Of Operations and Regional Vice Presidents) as well Customer Support Center opportunities.
Responsible for projects and process improvements from inception to implementation. This includes working with multiple departments and orchestrating resources to ensure timely production and field validation.
Conduct regular field touch bases to analyze and gain knowledge of project status to share with appropriate internal teams to ensure projects stay on track / without risk.
Regular participation in internal Team Meetings and Field Leadership Meetings as needed for the purpose of communicating to the Leadership team regarding the status of current and future projects.
