JOB SUMMARY: Performs general office support guided by detailed and specific instructions.
- Performs basic clerical duties (typing, filing, copying, collating, faxing, etc.)
- Compiles reports; updates and completes forms and documents
- Maintains office and consumer records, as requested
- Provides routine information regarding department/program
- Maintains office supplies and completes orders as necessary
- Answers phones, directs calls
- Greets and directs visitors
- Operates a variety of office equipment
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Knowledge of office practices and procedures. Knowledge of filing methods. Basic knowledge and skill in word processing. Effective oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED. One (1) year of related work experience. Basic software skills; good customer service skills. Ability to pass skills test.
