Quality Control Chemist

Come join the industry’s leading manufacturer and distributor of floor coatings and cleaning solutions! Hillyard, Inc. is currently taking applications for a Quality Control Chemist for our team in St. Joseph, MO.

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Control Chemist who would be responsible for all Laboratory duties.

  • Instrumentation: Experience with HPLC, GC and FTIR and associated software. General maintenance and repair.
  • Wet Chemistry: Perform testing on finished product, water samples, raw materials, and packaging. Proficient in pH, Viscosity, Density, Specific Gravity and Titrations. Maintain microbiological and chemical testing supplies.
  • Quality Compliance: Inspection of manufacturing and filling areas to insure GMP compliance. Environmental monitoring of GMP facilities. Comply with all regulations from local, state, and federal agencies, (OSHA, FDA etc.). Maintain production floor quality environment through related scheduled checks/balances. Lead GMP training/scheduling.
