Job Description

We currently have an opening for a Payroll Specialist!

The payroll specialist will ensure accurate processing and recording of the weekly payroll for staff, provide timely and accurate financial information, and participate in daily entry payroll processing.

Role and Responsibilites:

- Analyzes, prepares, and inputs payroll data, and produces accurate timely payroll 
- Reconcile payroll and validate preview and financial reports
- Troubleshoot and resolve payroll related errors
- Works directly with managers in operations to ensure accurate and timely time sheet completion
- Prepares AD Hoc, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year end reports
- Maintains current knowledge and ensures compliance of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws
- Ensures accurate and compliant garnishments deductions and benefit contributions
- Serve as an active business partner within the organization 


- Two plus years experience processing payroll
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, primarily Excel
- Strong work ethic and communiation
- Decision making skills
- Ability to maintain confidential work environment

Job Requirements

Working knowledge of payroll best practices

Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook

Strong work ethic and committed team player

Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills

Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

Ability to maintain a confidential work environment

Ability to communicate information to employees and management
