Interim HealthCare of Atlanta is seeking an experienced Payroll / A/P and HR Clerk to join our Team.
We are looking for a hands-on, self-starter with full cycle A/P and Payroll experience. This position will also assist the HR department.

The essential functions of this position include:
  • Processing payroll on a biweekly basis utilizing ADP WorkForce NOW
  • Compile and review employee's time in the timekeeping system and import it into ADP
  • Process submission of 401k contributions and matches, posting payroll and related journal entries
  • Responsible for inputting garnishments support orders, payroll deductions
  • Processes invoices efficiently and timely including, but not limited to, check requests, employee expense reimbursements and vendor payments
  • Ensures coding for the appropriate expense accounts
  • Daily AP invoice data entry
  • Work with vendors to ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Run reports as requested and on a regular basis to identify problems, delinquent accounts, adjustments needed
  • Experience of journal entries
  • Proficient total month-end closing duties
  • General Ledger account reconciliation
  • Create organize and maintain personnel records
  • Conduct new hire orientation
  • Input new hire information and maintain internal databases
  • Generate HR reports and maintain spreadsheets
  • Maintain confidential personnel files
  • Assist employees with HR inquiries
  • Communicate and interact with company customers and vendors


Job Requirements

  • Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent working knowledge of accounts payable practices
  • ADP Payroll processing REQUIRED
  • SAGE 100 experience REQUIRED
  • 2 years of Accounts Payable experience REQUIRED, preferably in a Healthcare Environment
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Experience with HCHB a plus
  • Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills are required
  • Proven ability to prioritize daily and important projects
  • Capable of working independently as well as with a team
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, work under pressure with changing priorities and short deadlines, and effectively handle a heavy workload
