The Revenue Cycle Manager manages the payment integrity staff and coordinates the identification and analysis of payment issues that affect all payer revenue streams.

This position will be in the Conshohocken, PA office.



Responsibilities

  • Manages the payment audit function within Post Billing.
  • Perform reimbursement analysis using on-demand cloud computing platform, SQL and Tableau.
  • Coordinates the identification and analysis of payment issues that affect all payer revenue streams.
  • Develops complex spreadsheets and workflow solutions to be worked by staff.
  • Coordinate dispute resolution initiatives with Envision Physician Services (EVPS) legal team.
  • With assistance of Director, integrate short-term and long-term revenue solutions into the Payment Integrity Unit.
  • With assistance of Director, develop and maintain portfolio of analysis and metrics.
  • Mentor employees, conduct performance evaluations, counsel and provide corrective actions to assigned personnel, and work to facilitate individual and team development that drives positive results.
  • Present image to subordinates, superiors, and client-users (EVPS RCOOs and RCEOs) as: knowledgeable, creative, energetic, and assertive.
  • Convey an attitude of intolerance for unprofessional behavior.
  • Promote an environment of mutual respect, courtesy and value of others’ opinions/ideas.
  • Manage and inspire staff with an "inspirational", positive leadership style. Promote the advancement of the best performers.
  • Set example as friendly, helpful "firm but fair" management and leadership for subordinates.
  • Work well with other leaders to communicate and share resources on critical projects. Seek opportunities to help others’ projects by sharing and reallocating team members’ priorities and assignments

  • Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, or healthcare administration. MBA or MHA degree a plus. 
  • Three years of healthcare financial analysis experience.
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience preferred in an insurance/claims or health care environment.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel necessary. Candidates without high Excel aptitude should not apply.
  • Knowledge of SQL, on-demand cloud computing platforms and Tableau required.
  • The selected candidate must have a true passion for data mining.
  • Medical and insurance industry terminology.
  • Hospital processes, including functions and processes of Emergency Rooms and Admissions offices.
  • HIPAA, Sarbanes-Oxley and other critical governmental regulations.
  • Management principles.
  • Maintain fluency with (working knowledge of) various tools:
    • Billing systems
    • Spreadsheet, word processing/presentation tools, (e.g., Word, Excel, Power Point,Visio)
    • Time-keeping, Payroll, Human Resource Information System tools (e.g. Kronos, Oracle)
  • Communicate effectively, (both orally and in writing) in English.
