  1. Maintenance of personnel and/or training records
  2. Provide assistance with job postings and maintaining applicant tracking records
  3. Presentations
  4. Administration and coordination of new employee orientation programs
  5. Responses to employee inquiries and questions
  6. Special projects as identified by the HR Director


  1. Must be at least 21 years of age
  2. Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future
  3. Must be currently enrolled in an accredited four year college or university at the time of the internship
  4. Must have junior or senior class standing
  5. Must have a minimum overall GPA of 2.8
  6. Must have experience with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Power Point


  1. Must be pursuing a degree in Human Resources 
  2. Previous internship, co-op or work experience in a related field is preferred
  3. Demonstrated leadership by involvement in extracurricular activities on campus or in the community.

Timberline Knolls will follow the standards oU.S. Department of Labor – Fair Labor Standards Act’s and the standards established by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE)

  1. The internship, even though it includes actual operation of the facilities of Timberline Knolls, is similar to training which would be given in an educational environment;
  2. The internship experience is for the benefit of the intern;
  3. The intern will not displace regular employees, but works under close supervision of existing staff;
  4. Timberline Knolls training derives no immediate advantage from the activities of the intern; and on occasion its operations may actually be impeded;
  5. The intern is not necessarily entitled to a job at the conclusion of the internship; and
  6. The employer and the intern understand that the intern is not entitled to wages for the time spent in the internship.
