Ambassador is seeking experienced Material Handlers in the Greenville, AL area!

The Material Handlers are responsible for providing all the necessary parts and pieces for assembly technicians. A majority of the parts are rather small and lightweight, some of them bagged together in assembly kits. Some of the finished products are very awkward in shape and can weigh as much as 50-75lbs.
  • Uses sit down fork lifts to stock pick, and transport pallets of raw/finished products in warehouse, load/unload trucks, transfer products.

  • Packs and weighs boxes of products and assigns appropriate methods of shipping in accordance with employer needs; prepares related documents.
  • Checks forklift for safety and smooth operation daily (e.g., fluids, horns, back up lights).
  • Operates wrapping machine to securely wrap boxes loaded on pallets; adjusts controls for tension, size, etc.
  • Performs inventory duties including counting, verifying and checking documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Completes batch and other records and physically checks materials against records and inventory documents; fills out weigh tags accurately and completely; and places quarantine stickers on vendor receipts.
  • Enters data from various inventory and batch records into computer ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Communicates with leads and supervisors on schedules and priorities to ensure smooth flow of correct materials into manufacturing and other areas in accordance with production schedules.
  • Uses orders to locate and pull specific items from shelves and packs them for shipment; uses fork lift as necessary to move product.
  • Performs all duties in compliance with safety rules

    Job Requirements:

    3 years Forklift experience
    Basic computer knowledge
    Able to lift up to 75 pounds
    High school diploma/GED
