Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant responsible for journal entries, reconciliations, various reports, account analysis and other projects/filings/reports as assigned as well as
daily/weekly/monthly transactions.

Responsibilities

ACCOUNTS RECONCILIATIONS:
Assembles all supporting documentation and information to properly prepare and submit accurate account reconciliations. Researches and resolves all

reconciling items timely and accurately The Responsibility and Accountability 'meets standards' when:
(1) Assembles proper supporting documentation which is retained on file.
(2) Prepares accurate meaningful schedule where appropriate.
(3) Prepares timely and accurate Account Reconciliations.
(4) Maintains Reconciliations lists/records appropriately.
(5) follows up with appropriate personnel on needed information for reconciliation preparation.
(6) Researches and Resolves reconciling items timely and accurately.

FINANCIAL ANALYSIS/VARIOUS PROJECTS:
Is responsive with all other projects as assigned. Capable of identifying sources and formatting to produce meaningful information The Responsibility and
Accountability 'meets standards' when:
(1) identifies best sources of needed information to assemble special projects data/information.
(2) Crafts reports/spreadsheets productively and meaningfully.
(3) Submits accurate, timely and meaningful information.
(4) Asks appropriate questions before during and after project is complete to ensure future enhancements are produced.
(5) tracking, reporting and designated contact for endowments and charitable trusts transactions.
(6) Any other projects to support general accounting staff.

JOURNAL ENTRIES ASSEMBLY AND PREPARATION 
Assembles all supporting documentation and information to properly prepare and submit accurate journal entries The Responsibility and Accountability 'meets
standards' when:
(1) Assembles proper supporting documentation which is retained on file.
(2) Prepares accurate meaningful schedule where appropriate.
(3) Prepares timely and accurate journal entries based on supporting documentation and supporting schedules.
(4) Maintains journal entry lists/records appropriately.
(5) follows up with appropriate personnel on needed information for journal entry preparation.

AUDIT SUPPORT:
Capable of locating, providing and answering audit requests as assigned. The Responsibility and Accountability 'meets standards' when:
(1) Understands audit requirements.
(2) Maintains audit compliant records.
(3) Locates and provides documentation for audit purposes as assigned.
(4) Makes changes as needed to enhance audit compliance.



Qualifications

Education:

4 year/Bachelor's Degree
