Position Overview & Responsibilities

Restaurant Assistant Manager Responsibilities:
  • Reports to the General Manager
  • Coach, train and encourage employees to understand and achieve company standards
  • A lead-by example style with praise and constructive criticism through positive reinforcement
  • Assist the General Manager in forming a professional culture in which all staff can align with our main purpose and form lifelong relationships with guests as quickly as possible
  • Be active in the daily log book documenting on-shift operations
  • Be active in the staff journal communicating with the management team on individual employee performance
  • Assist in developing a professional work environment by following the company policies
  •  Lead the on-shift staff to form lifelong relationships by consistently delivering the best experience to every guest
  • Ensure all  training systems are perfectly followed for all new hires
  • Perfectly follow all procedures and checklists to achieve consistency between shifts
  • Professionally lead shifts as the manager on duty, cold-line and/or hotline manager
  • Ensure development of lifelong relationships through guest recovery systems
  • Complete communication systems using the digital log book
  • Enact proven systems to ensure professional communication and training with new hires in an organized manner
  • Ensure all applications are processed in a timely manner
  • Organize and lead interviews, on-boarding and development of training schedules
  • Develop a training team that ensures 100% compliance with all requirements
  • Follow food ordering and inventory procedures

Position Requirements

Restaurant Assistant Manager Qualifications:
    • Minimum of 1 to 3 years experience as a salaried Assistant Manager in Fast Food or QSR
    • HSD/GED...Degree a Plus
    • Experience with training, scheduling, food & labor costs, inventory, P&L
    • Marketing experience and strategies
    • Team player able to support and maintain a team
