Wachter is seeking a motivated and process driven Strategic Account Manager (“SAM”) to develop our Upper Mid-West territory. This individual will be tasked with generating growth within new and existing customers, should have a proven track record and eager to achieve an aggressive target with expectations to overachieve. The ideal candidate needs to be capable of selling complex and comprehensive infrastructure solutions into large corporate and multinational companies.

Roles and Responsibilities:
As a SAM you will be expected to build awareness of all Wachter’s capabilities within large enterprises
Lead and manage to deliver customer business value and develop customer relationships
Collaborate with other departments in order to develop sales strategy for enhancing the company’s growth
Effectively create and articulate value selling in various negotiations
Assist in pricing strategy
Ensure effective prospecting, up selling/cross selling, and pipeline development
Keep a pulse on the market: Know the landscapes and trends that may shift tactical budgets and strategic directions of accounts
Participate and team with technical, presales and partners to provide complete solutions to customers
Responsible to drive deals from opportunity identification, validation qualification to closure.
Present the value of our solutions to all levels of customer’s management and drive services sales.
Provide relevant and sound business & technical advice to the customer and make recommendations.
Build and maintain relationships with new and existing partners
What We're Looking for:
At least 5 years of enterprise selling experience within the technology industry
Candidate should have experience in services and solution selling, i.e. IT infrastructure management services, and solid knowledge of IT Infrastructure technologies
Proven track record of over-achieving quota in past opportunities
Ability to negotiate mutually agreeable outcomes with customers and internal stakeholders
Entrepreneurial spirit/mindset with flexibility towards dynamic change
Travel is required
Candidate must possess excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills.
University degree or equivalent practical experience
