Lighthouse Youth & Family Services has a full-time Therapist position available in Community Juvenile Justice. As part of a mission focused, innovative, diversion program, the successful Ross County Juvenile Justice Therapist will work with adolescents who are being diverted from juvenile justice residential treatment placements. The therapist will work closely with other professionals in providing treatment services in the areas of mental health, employment, education, and criminal offending behaviors.

Essential Functions:


  • Provide service coordination including oversight and orchestrating case management services.
  • Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy/counseling to youth in home, school, and office.
  • Conduct risk and diagnostic assessments and develop/implement individual service plans.
  • Provide advocacy and support as part of a therapeutic treatment team with professionals and county systems of care.
 
Qualifications:
  • LSW or LPC licensure required.
  • Independent and/or Chemical Dependency licensure a plus.
  • Experience working with children and families involved in the juvenile justice system preferred.
  • Understanding of or willingness to learn and apply trauma-informed care principles a must.
  • Transportation and good driving record.
