Job Description
  • Manage volume and profit per the budget for the Retail Dairy Sales Channel.
  • Execute all sales and marketing strategies and tactics as planned.
  • Work closely with all functional groups at Company.
  • Ability to identify new business opportunities and develop them (includes P&L, forecasting, slotting).
  • Manage and motivate the sales team, providing leadership in business planning and budget development, and budget attainment.
  • Ability to manage both direct (zone managers) and indirect (brokers) sales resources.
  • Supervise all required sales administrative functions effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Comprehend and understand market level information, customer insights to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Develop and communicate priorities, establish and manage volume, share, revenue and profit targets to ensure profitable growth.
  • Ability to forecast existing business and new business.
  • Experience in developing and completing Private Label RFP’s, includes pricing alignments and operational considerations.
  • Manage and Control Trade Spending as part of the overall Sales P&L.
Job Requirements
  • Values that align with the Company culture.
  • Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred.
  • 5-7 years of sales experience including national account and sales team management.
  • Strong financial acumen, understanding relationships between volume and profit.
  • Experience in consumer products and/or food and beverage industries.  Dairy or cheese experience a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead in an entrepreneurial setting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and persuade across multiple functional areas to effectively build consensus upwards, downwards and laterally within an organization.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Utilize syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) to create fact based selling solutions for customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong computer skills. Excel, Word and Power Point skills a must. 
  • Ability to travel 8-10 nights per month.
