DEADLINE TO SUBMIT CANDIDATES CLEARANCE REQUIRED - Top Secret with eligibility for SCI Per Federal Government- US Citizenship required ALTA IT Services is looking for a Director of Business Development to work for a Government Contractor in the Northern Virginia area. This is a hybrid model with flexibility. Responsibilities * Responsible for growing company presence and effectively leading the marketing of capabilities to achieve and/or exceed growth plan objectives * Serve as focal point for future customers by representing the company's business development growth within Federal Law Enforcement including the capture, proposal, and award of IDIQ and single award programs * Lead comprehensive growth activities, including enterprise initiatives, marketing efforts, conference messaging and branding initiatives * Establish relationships and lead purposeful engagements with current and potential customers throughout the US Government * Assess future growth opportunities aligned with Illuminate strategic growth objectives * Work across multiple technical functions and business areas and will lead the development and presentation of growth strategies and opportunities * Lead the Federal Law Enforcement market assessment, develop new opportunities, and coordinate win efforts throughout the enterprise including coordination with Operations and Proposal personnel * Work with SMEs to develop solutions to complex customer challenges which require the regular use of ingenuity and innovation; ensures solutions are consistent with organizational objectives and financial goals * Provide leadership on opportunity specific win strategies * Provide leadership for all capture and proposal related activities Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree is desirable * 8 plus years in business development, program management and/or strategic planning with 4 of the most recent years focused on developing business in the Federal Law Enforcement * Possess an active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain SCI access * Proven record of successfully growing business with expanded customers and markets domestically and/or internationally * Experience in Federal Law Enforcement * Experience with both services and product-based offerings * Experience building and managing customer relationships with customers within assigned area to seek out and identify new business opportunities * Demonstrated networking capabilities among various communities, e.g. acquisition officials/leads in the IC, Department of Defense, multiple Military Services, and other Government agencies for identifying and developing potential business opportunities * Demonstrated knowledge of the Federal Law Enforcement competitive landscape * Complete understanding of business development that includes contract cost and pricing principles that translates efforts in achievements especially in acquiring new and follow-on business * Knowledge and understanding of information collection, analysis, and exploitation processes and methods * Ability to respond effectively to RFIs and RFPs * Ability to write using original or innovative techniques or style * Ability to integrate regulatory, customer, political and market information into effective business strategies and plans * Strong interpersonal skills including tact, diplomacy, and flexibility to work effectively with all levels of employees * Strong leadership skills with an ability to coach, lead, motivate and influence others to support corporate goals and objectives * Strong communication skills, including group presentations Travel * Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required System One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé, ALTA IT Services, CM Access, and MOUNTAIN, LTD., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
