Mental Health Specialist (AM)
Primary responsibilities include the provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu, crisis intervention, and assistance with patient daily living activities. Facilitation of Groups, Assistance with Medical Needs/Intervention, and other duties as assigned. Must implement excellent patient care skills.Job Requirements
Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology or related field strongly preferred. Non-degreed applicants with 5-10 years of related psychiatric experience will also be considered. Must possess knowledge of psychiatric group processes, therapeutic relationships, age specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior management, and crisis management.
Masters level Mental Health Specialists also welcome. Bilingual Spanish/English a plus!
