Scrum Master

HAVI Chicago, IL (On Site) Full-Time
Overview:

This role will be responsible for ensuring that each team member follows the framework of Scrum to ultimately drive excellence in product delivery and support existing and new product development They establish clarity of each team member's role, helps coach them through any unclear parts, and guide large teams in using this method effectively.

The role will involve collaborating with the Customer, Product, and Delivery teams to design and develop efficient, effective, and impactful processes and product collateral. This role will work with Product Owners, connecting them to the Scrum team and providing guidance on better collaboration. Their work ensures that every aspect of their work goes as planned.

This role provides the opportunity to influence our thinking on how products and solutions are designed, developed, and delivered. This person must be able to build a trusted partnership with our clients and provide consultative and advisory services as needed.

Be current on trends and developments in the market with an eye on bringing new advancements into our portfolio of solutions.

This role will be part of the North America Supply Chain's DevOps team.

Responsibilities:

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Manage each project's scope and timeline
Coordinate sprints, retrospective meetings, and daily stand-ups
Coach team members in Agile frameworks
Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
Help teams implement changes effectively
Ensure deliverables are up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
Drive development teams to higher scrum maturity
Help build a productive environment where team members 'own' the product and enjoy working on it
Direct leadership of the programme related Customer Collaboration teams
Full participation in Project Board, supporting the Product Owner
Help teams self-organize, self-manage, and deliver via effective Agile practices
Support and coach the practices, principles and mindset of Agile project delivery and other process rules
Desired Skills & Experience:

ABOUT YOU

Qualification

Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or closely related field

Knowledge and Experience

5+ years working with Agile DevOps methodologies with experience in a scrum master role
Familiarity with software development
Familiarity with Agile DevOps tools, e.g., MS-Azure DevOps
Excellent knowledge of Scrum techniques and artifacts (such as the definition of epics, features, user stories, automated testing, and backlog refinement)
Good knowledge of other Agile frameworks (SAFe5.1, Crystal, etc.)
Excellent communication and servant leadership skills
Proved problem-solving and conflict-resolution ability
Outstanding organizational skills
Scrum Master certification is a plus
