Fast growing Montgomery County looking for a graduate civil engineer to join our team as an Engineer I

Located just north of the Harris County area, and covering 1,047 square miles, Montgomery County is the 24th fastest growing county in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau 2010 report.  The U.S. Census Bureau also estimated Montgomery County's population to be 455,746, a 55.15% growth rate in the ten years from the last U.S. Census.  Montgomery County provides regional services to all residents of the county.  These include courts and related legal services, public safety, records and elections, roads and bridges, regional parks and facilities.

Job Requirements and Responsibilities 

  • 4 year civil engineering degree required
  • Salary of $2,384.62 bi-weekly
  • Opportunities for future advancement
  • Review subdivision and commercial drainage
    plans and construction plans and perform field
    research when necessary to ensure compliance
    from engineers and developers
  • Assist Flood Plain Administrator with plans,
    drainage reports, development permits, and field
    inspections when needed
  • Review plats to ensure they meet county
    regulations
  • Discuss and find resolution to general public
    inquiries by phone and in person concerning
    road/drainage issues and flood plain issues
