Hiring a Regional Account Executive for the Pest Prevention business, a high caliber sales professional who wants to join the team on the way to becoming number one! Successful candidates will join a results oriented environment where you will proceed through a rigorous training and development program, including the Ehrlich Institute. Once complete, your assignment will include prospecting for new clients with the objective of selling our industry leading pest elimination solutions. The Regional Account Executive will be calling on a full spectrum of market segments including hospitality, food & beverage processing, healthcare, retail and institutional. Ehrlich provides a great work environment for sales professionals including benefits, a company vehicle, 401k, profit sharing, and a base salary plus commissions. The Regional Account Executive enjoys an atmosphere of autonomy, travel, and recognition, and rewards for achievement.











Requirements:


  • Five years' experience in Business to Business outside sales
  • Two years' sales experience in the Pest Control industry
  • Intermediate to Advanced computer competency, including familiarity with Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Home office with access to Internet
  • Will be required to obtain any required industry State licenses
  • Valid driver's license/clean driving record
  • A Bachelor's degree is a plus
  • Experience in generating sales through cold calling and prospecting
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Previous negotiation and presentation skills - Experience selling into multiple market segments
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills


Responsibilities:


  • Cold calling and prospecting for new business opportunities
  • Craft territory development strategies that will result in exceeding sales targets
  • Learn and maintain complete knowledge of Ehrlich's programs, protocols, pricing policies and service offerings
  • Build partnerships and collaborate effectively with Service and Operations personnel to maximize growth opportunities
  • Represent yourself and the Ehrlich brand as a premium provider of Brand Protection Services to your clients and prospects

Ehrlich Pest Control was founded in 1928 in Reading, Pennsylvania by Julius C. Ehrlich. Mr. Ehrlich was a salesman who sold insecticides and fogging equipment. At this time, pest control was very much a do-it-yourself venture.

When one of his customers, a department store, had no one who could apply the materials, Mr. Ehrlich offered to do it for them – a novel idea at that time.

With that gesture in 1928, Mr. Ehrlich established his new service company using the principles that still guide Ehrlich today: initiative, ingenuity and exceeding customer expectations. In these early days, the service team consisted of Mr. Ehrlich, his wife and daughter, who placed rat bait in small pieces of bread.

From these humble beginnings, Ehrlich has grown to 45 local offices serving the Mid-Atlantic states – Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio, and the District of Columbia.
