Job Description


The CC-PMO (Call Center Project Management Office) Team in Freedom Mortgage Corporation is seeking a Project Coordinator who can successfully assist in managing a project from initiation to completion; and act as liaison between Freedom's Call Center Departments (Sales, Operations and Marketing) and IT Team. This individual must be analytical, detail-oriented and able to ensure that each project is successfully completed on time and within budget.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders to translate the business needs into business requirements.

  • Define and maintain project plans.

  • Assist Program Manager/Project Manager for business analysis and coordination for assigned tasks.

  • Able to assist on multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively

  • Organize, attend and facilitate meetings with business and IT stakeholders.

  • Document meeting notes (action items, decisions, etc.) and follow up on actions items to ensure completion.

  • Prepare meeting agenda (questionnaire) and necessary presentation materials for meetings.

  • Ensure project timelines are on track and deliverables are not delayed.

  • Determine project changes and impact (time, cost, schedule, resource) on project.

  • Identify project risks and issues.

  • Provide administrative support as needed.

  • Undertake project tasks as required.

  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.

  • No supervisory responsibilities

Education, Experience and/or Qualification:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from a four-year College or University, 0-2 years’ experience and demonstrated leadership ability

  • Mortgage industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.

  • Knowledgeable in Waterfall and Agile methodology for Project Management is preferred but not required.
  • Experience in business process modeling tools such as Visio, Blueworks Live, etc.
  • Attention to detail when analyzing and interpreting business process and functions
  • Efficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Able to be flexible and work hard in a high-pressure environment with changing priorities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Able to follow standard processes, templates and procedures as defined by PMO
  • Willingness to learn new systems, software, and technologies
  • Build positive relationships with Business and IT Stakeholders at all levels
