There is an immediate need for an experienced Maternal Child Health Patient Care Director to join the medical team at a compassionate not for profit community hospital in beautiful Northern Massachusetts.  The hospital is located in a beautiful area offering residents and tourist abundant outdoor activities and scenic waterfront views. This is a fantastic chance for a nurse leader experienced in Mother/Baby services to join a supportive and talented team of clinical professionals.

The hospital has several areas of excellence including Cardiac Care, Orthopedic Care, Women’s Health, and Stroke Care in both inpatient and outpatient settings.  

The Maternal Child Health Patient Care Director RN will join a compassionate and experienced leadership team in Obstetric Services. Through a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach, the Director will work with their team in Mother/Baby Services to provide comprehensive quality care to newborns and their families.  

The Maternal Child Health Nurse Director will function as a member of the hospital’s clinical services leadership team and will report directly to the Clinical Director of Maternal-Fetal Medicine.  The Nurse Director will oversee Obstetrics Services with a focus on performance improvement, staffing, clinical training, and implementing department-wide goals.  The Assistant Director will be in charge of the unit operational management, fiscal management, professional staff development, quality assessments and improvement, and the application of policies and procedures along with providing hands on nursing care when needed.
