FCX Performance is an Applied Industrial Technologies Company and a leading process flow control company. As an Inside Sales Manager with FCX Performance, you will provide expertise, leadership, training while coaching a team of 14-15 Inside Sales Representatives in our Fairfield, NJ office. You’ll spend your time providing customer service, advise, product expertise to enhance overall sales environment.


Responsibilities:  

  • Manage Introductory & Annual Performance Reviews, as well as coaching and performance improvement plans.
  • Conducts Weekly, Quarterly, and Annual Sales meetings as well as setting Sales Goals for given intervals.
  • Promote and maintain effective working relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary.
  • Work closely with Outside Sales Representatives in soliciting business, executing order transactions and maintaining superior customer service levels.
  • Communicate effectively and participate positively as a member of the Branch/Division inside sales team 
  • Maximizes gross margin by ensuring that FCX gets paid for superior service, problem solving, and technical expertise.

Position Requirements   

  • 2+ years of proven Outside Sales within the industrial marketplace preferred
  • Written and verbal communication skills including English grammar
  • Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement
  • Ability and desire to quickly learn new processes and systems
  • Self-motivated & aggressive in sales tactics and strategies; desire to close sales!
  • Technical/flow control industry; valves and instrumentation knowledge preferred
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Computer proficiency including MS office
  • Epicor P21 a plus
