Phlebotomist I: Education:
Performs venipunctures, gives patients instructions in order to properly collect non-blood specimens and performs non-technical and clerical functions related to specimen collection.
High School or equivalent (GED) Experience Required:
Valid driver's license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin and/or Illinois based on job assignment location.
Phlebotomist II also performs arterial puncture for the performance of arterial blood gases. Performs as a Lead Phlebotomist in providing phlebotomy training.
ASCP or equivalent registry as a Phlebotomy Technician (PT) required. Shift: Nights Hours: 40 hours bi-weekly FTE: 0.5 Location: St. Catherine's Medical Center
