Federal Tax Manager - Financial Services - Insurance

• Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 5 years of Tax experience
• CPA or licensed Attorney, or the ability to achieve either within one year of employment
• Strong knowledge of ASC 740 and SSAP 101
• Income tax support for audits and income tax experience for Insurance companies as well as C Corporations
• At least 4 - 5 years of experience in preparing 1120, 1120 PC, 1120 L and consolidated group returns; experience reviewing these returns is a mustIdeally, you'll also have
• Direct experience in state and local taxation (e.g., state return compliance, state income tax accounting, state apportionment fundamentals)
• SEC experience
• Proven experience in managing teamsWhat we look for

The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $102,600 to $188,000. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $123,100 to $213,700. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
