Manage everyday sample flow from package receipt through entry and over-checking.
Prioritize unpacking and entry of rush, short hold, and priority samples.
Label, arrange for label over checking, scan paperwork, and notify appropriate parties of rush, short hold, and priority sample entries when completed.
Unpack and enter all other incoming samples so that normal sample entry is completed by the end of the shift.
Cold chain samples are kept in condition as long as possible; samples are not to be out of conditions longer than 30 minutes.
Contact Sample Management (SM) about problems or information needed for sample entry - document questions and responses, so entry information can be tracked and understood by anyone reviewing this information.
Place samples on hold that do not have entry information available within 30 minutes of the end of the shift.
The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, follow instructions, and comply with company policies, accuracy in recording and transcribing data, good work habits, ability to retain large amounts of information, logical thinking, and deductive reasoning
Good computer skills
Bachelor's degree in the sciences is preferred, but not required
High School Diploma or equivalent
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.
