Seeking an experienced Accounting Specialist to support our successful manufacturing company. • Ideally +5 years of relevant work experience preferably within a manufacturing entity • Proficient in MS Office Suite with basic MS Excel skills • Experience working within an ERP system • QuickBooks Desktop familiarity is a plus but is not required Responsibilities • Sales order entry into proprietary ERP system • Accessing customer portals to review and acknowledge orders • Maintaining/modifying shipment schedules as required • Creating labels for several large accounts • Customer invoicing in QuickBooks Desktop • 3-way match payables review and entry in QuickBooks Desktop • Weekly check runs in QuickBooks Desktop • Reviewing freight bills for accuracy • Entering customer credit card payments • Monthly receipt accrual report in MS Excel • Assemble audit documentation (vendor invoices, purchase orders, receiving documents) • Collection calls and/or collection e-mails • Covering the phone if the Receptionist is away • Other Accounting/Administrative duties as required by the business We are an Equal Employment Opportunity employer committed to excellence, diversity and inclusion.
