GLS is seeking the most talented and innovative Funding Administrative Coordinator in Greenville, SC,
to support automotive dealerships throughout the country.

What does it mean to be a Funding Administration Coordinator with GLS?   

The Funding Administrative Coordinator position is responsible for supporting the Funding Department by maintaining the files and documents associated with the department’s functions, as well as receiving, processing, and distributing all incoming and outgoing documents.

What will you do each day to accomplish the mission?
  • Organize and maintain the files and documents relating to all loan applications currently in process
  • Process and return the necessary contracts to the dealership
  • Send and receive documents with the dealership to resolve contract and title exceptions
  • Remit legal documents and original titles to the title management company
  • Conduct compliance audits and execute process corrections as/if needed
  • Provide compliance related communications to the internal business as well as customers as appropriate
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail
  • Upload received documents to the Loan Origination System under the correct application file
  • Assign new contracts to Dealer Funding Specialists in the Loan Origination System
  • Act as primary resource on program related matters, expertly answering questions and providing support
  • Answer all incoming calls from dealers, agents, and company sales representatives
  • Support business development efforts
  • Ensure all work is completed per the company’s service level agreements
  • Participate in special projects as needed
  • Perform additional assignments as required by the needs of the company or as directed by management
What should you already know to be successful in this role?
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Financial services and/or auto industry experience preferred
  • Internal candidates at the Coordinator (C1) level with commensurate experience and a track record of sustained, top performance against company standards may be considered
  • Confident self-starter that operates well with limited supervision
  • Consistently demonstrates the ability to establish priorities and properly manage multiple high priority tasks
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Team player that can adapt in a fast pace and changing environment
  • High level of interpersonal skills with the ability to interact at all levels inside and outside of the organization
  • Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail; ability to meet deadlines while maintaining quality of work
  • Proficient computer skills with working knowledge of internet and standard business applications such as Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new computer applications as required
  • Commitment to exemplifying the organizational core values and key competencies
High school diploma or equivalent required

Physical Requirements:
  • Remain in a stationary position 75% of the work day
  • Constantly operate a computer and other standard office equipment 
  • Talk and hear to exchange accurate information
  • Have close visual acuity to perform activities such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading
  • Lift up to 25 pounds
  • Stoop and kneel to maintain files
Employment Requirements:
Must be able to pass criminal background check

  • This position is full-time
  • Position requires flexibility to work departmental operating days and times which include Monday through Saturday 8:30am- 8:00pm
